Lim Oon Kuin（林恩强）详细讲述了他旗下的业务集团，包括 Ocean Bunkers 和 Ocean Tankers，并为他的前任 PA （私人助理）负责与银行谈判的新融资事宜作证。

新加坡国家法院在周一（10 月 30 日）的听证会听取了 Hin Leong Trading (Pte) Ltd （兴隆贸易）创始人 Lim Oon Kuin （林恩强）针对自己涉及 1.117 亿美元（1.487 亿新元）款项欺诈和文书伪造嫌疑的指控发表证词；这是他首次出庭为自己辩护。

据《商业时报》报道， Lim Oon Kuin （林恩强）先生，又名 O.K. Lim用普通话表示，他旗下企业集团包括兴隆 (Hin Leong)、Ocean Tankers、Ocean Bunkers、Xihe Holdings 和Xihe Capital，均采用“左口袋出、右口袋进”的模式运营。

正如引述的那样，林先生作证时说：“有时，如果一家公司需要什么，另一家公司就会提供帮助。 如果一家公司需要资金，另一家公司就会把资金送过来。”

林先生的一位律师 Navin Thevar 向他询问在他控制下每家公司的详细信息，林先生回答兴隆从事石油买卖业务。但之后，兴隆成立了其他公司。

林先生指出，航运公司Ocean Tankers的成立是为了管理和出租船舶，而Ocean Bunkers的成立是为了向船舶提供燃油；同时，Ocean Bunkers 是由 Ocean Tankers 管理。

Xihe Holdings 和Xihe Capital 是控股公司，拥有100多艘油轮；而Universal Group Holdings是新加坡最大的石油储存码头，用于储存不同类型的石油。

林先生于 1973 年担任兴隆执行董事，直至 2020 年 3 月或 4 月。

据《海峡时报》报道，林先生在作证是指出，他的前私人助理 Serene Seng 负责与客户进行买卖谈判，以及与银行就新融资进行谈判，同时，也涵盖兴隆的其他职责。

林先生解释，随着兴隆的业务增长，Serene Seng需要负责的工作越来越多，与银行的互动也越来越多。

Lim 表示，Serene Seng最终被任命为合同主管和公司事务经理，因为“这样客户就能了解她的工作”。

今年 4 月，新加坡州法院听取了 Seng 在新加坡商业事务局 (CAD) 调查期间承认撒谎的证词，当时她表示无法回忆起与 Lim Oon Kuin 刑事指控相关的交易相关事件。

这位 61 岁的女士（Serene Seng）在 Hin Leong Trading 工作了近 30 年，最后的职位为公司事务经理；此前，她出庭指控她的前老板林先生，当时林先生面临欺诈和文书伪造指控。

在代表林先生的 Davinder Singh Chambers 高级律师 Davinder Singh 的盘问下，Seng 女士承认她向 CAD 撒了谎，称她不记得与交易有关的情况，以保护她的孩子。

她表示担心自己在孩子幼小上学期被起诉，并可能被判入狱。

此前，汇丰银行对林氏家族和一名兴隆员工提起诉讼，要求追回向兴隆发放的 1.117 亿美元贷款中的 8530 万美元；Seng女士与林氏家族的三名成员为该案的四名被告。
